When it came to David Seymour, Jacinda got one thing right, and another wrong.
What is the sacrilege, I hear you ask? In what world in relation to David Seymour was our Jacinda ever wrong?
As you no doubt remember, and personally I think there should be some sort of monument or public holiday to celebrate it, our then PM said of the leader of the ACT party, “he’s such an Arrogant Prick”. Under her breath, captured in parliament.
Now Seymour, being the whiny little snowflake that he is, complained. Telling tales to teacher that one of the other kids called him a mean name.
Oh bugger, I forgot to mention at the start - if you’ve come here with the expectation of any semblance of balance, you might like to come back tomorrow. I’m not even going to pretend to look at Seymour neutrally. I detest the man and everything he stands for.
I don’t see him so much as somebody with different political views but as someone who intends our country great harm. He poses as great a risk to our society, our way of life, as an invading enemy. In my opinion he should be spoken about accordingly.
What Jacinda got wrong was apologising. Why should she? There was no inaccuracy - she simply spoke the truth.
Of course there are rules in parliament restricting this sort of thing, but so what - she was the PM, what were they going to do, kick her out? That’s a walk of pride right there. Besides which she must’ve kinda known already that she was going to leave - so stuff him.

Being who she is Jacinda was of course the bigger person. She swallowed the dead rat and apologised. The country was divided enough already, so she had to do the right thing - even though the words must have stuck in her throat.
Did Seymour follow suit and demonstrate any new found maturity? Did he bollocks? If you heard David talk about Jacinda on Anti-Woke FM, or whatever it’s called, he gloated. He genuinely seemed to believe that he was smarter and superior, which was absurd and nauseating at the time but a whole lot worse now that he’s the acting PM.
I posted about that on Sunday and got quite a bit of response on Facebook and Twitter.
Lex Luther and Deputy Drunkle are both overseas this week and so David Seymour is acting as Prime Minister. Do first things first - Don’t Panic!
If you’re not aware, parliament is not sitting for the next three weeks. So there is a limit to how much damage David can do.
It’s kind of like telling that one kid in the class that next week they’re in charge of the school but what you really mean is it’s the holidays, no one will be there, and they’ll be looking after the class guinea pig. So everyone can breath a sigh of relief, well, except maybe the guinea pig. Cuy Cuy indeed.
