Uffindell should resign , what he did speaks volumes, admitting he was a bully and used to bash fellow students isn't a back story that I suspect would have gone done well with the folk of Tauranga if they had been aware of it - it would be interesting to hear from some of them in this regard. The thing that really riles me is that 11% of our fellow Kiwis would vote for ACT ... are 11% of the NZ population mentally ill ??

An excellent read Nick.

Thanks for focusing us on the right message

Shocking to think Kiwis would turn to the right after seeing the mess Trump & Boris have delivered, will they be blinded by the blue egg & usual benefit bashing/crime/gang rhetoric... I hope not :(

Superbly written, Nick. This should be on the front page of the NZ Herald. Oh, did I hear you say our National newspaper is owned by Rupert Mrurdoch and how could they possibly countenance publishing such a left-wing opinion? Anyone else see Luxon as the quintessential low-self-esteem bully himself?

I'm not ready to panic yet. I thought a good question I could ask some of the right leaning people I know something along the lines of which party do you think is going to provide the best hospitals for your parents when they need them or which party is going to give your grandchildren a good education and then a chance at a trade or uni.

Ah, here you are making a fundamental error in your thinking. These people are not concerned about anyone beyond themselves and their profits. Their family members should have worked harder/had more ambition/not been so soft (insert your favourite quote here) and not try to sponge off their more successful relatives. Oh, and never forget the "trickle down theory".

I dont trust polls. Who on right mind could vote for Luxon and Key old policies? It will definitely ruin not only the country but our international reputation. And all because of fake media news: News Corp owned ZB&NZHerald plus all others like Mediaworks &TVNZ all with National CEOs. Co governance has to be changed asap. It should be done differently. I am pro Maori participating in as they are tge ones who care about the land , like Nghai Tahu in South Island: in fact it was Key who introduced them in ECan : they had 2 reps.
