Double Down On Wrong
Maybe the plan isn't what we think it is.
Reelin’ and weak, waited so long.
Stacked your chips to keep, and now they’re all gone.
We all need a seeker. I need a shot of something strong.
You want to make me a believer, go on and double down,
Double down on wrong.
Song: Dana Fuchs.

“An iceberg, you say? Hold course and accelerate.”
That’s how it felt this week when Christopher and Nicola told us to ignore our eyes and the economic indicators, and believe they’re on the right track. Not only that, but if there is any truth that we’re heading in the wrong direction, that’s Labour’s fault.
I looked at that headline and thought, “You have a plan? Surely if something’s not working, you try something else? Only a fool doubles down on a losing strategy.”
