They already have distractions out the wazoo with Winston and Shane’s war on woke, but many people are concerned that their income is not keeping pace with rising prices - and there sure won’t be anything in this budget for them.
They need something that doesn’t cost anything but will make people feel better. Not because their lives have improved, Nicola says we can’t afford to spend money on improving lives, but because other people are worse off.
They’ve already gone after gang patches and Māori rights - so what’s left?
