Yes predictably Luxon is nowhere to be seen or heard. I miss the days where our PM stood up for NZs and the international communities rules and orders which kept us all pretty safe for so many years.
I posted yesterday what a sad bunch of losers Hobson's Pledge are and asked if NZ First Minister Casey Costello is still a member of the Board. Apparently she resigned saying she thought she could do more for their cause as an MP for NZ First. But she and her leader are still firmly in that nasty xenophobic racist world. What a sad endeavour, being led by the 85 year old Don Brash and those who spend their time being anxious that "others" ie Maori might get more than them. And in her, Winston's and Shane's case, using their ethnicity and privilege to push this message. And David Seymour's another one. Greed is greed. It has no colour.
Well, all these old racists are not immortal and there are wonderful young people like Eliza McCartney coming along - so I live in hope! (I'm pretty old myself, but have never lost my youthful values and have always voted Green.)
I suspect that Luxon is hiding away with Simeon, to have a few words about the future of National as a viable option for Government. I can almost hear the conversation…..
Luxon: “My dear boy, so far you’ve managed to damage roads, electricity and health irreparably. Well done! I’m planning to head off to Hawaii to soak up the sun and the Mai Tais with Johnny, on the beach, so I’m wondering if you would like to take over as PM for a while? You’ve shown me you’re perfectly qualified, with your expertise and record so far. What do you think?”
Simeon: “Golly gosh Chris, that’s a great question and opportunity for me! I’ll have to ponder it so do think treasury could slip me another few million bucks so I can engage some consultants to help me out? As you’d be aware there’s a range of options to be explored so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your support and trust in me. To follow in your footsteps, wherever they may lead is my life’s dream!!”
We need a lot more Eliza McCartneys in our country. She’s always been a great ambassador when competing and out of the arena as well. No tantrums or anything that would tar her or our reputation. When her pole vaulting days are over she could probably make a huge hit as a Green Party member or candidate.
We need a lot fewer Hobson’s Pledge anything. Denying them any media coverage at all would be the most appropriate way to treat them.
Last but not least…….just sent the letter below to the Herald….
Perhaps those world leaders who feel threatened and fear for their country’s future, could pass the hat around pay for the wall Trump has wanted for years. I believe one that is guided by the coast lines and borders of neighbouring countries, not so much to keep the pet eaters, rapists, murderers, et al, out, but more to keep the lunatics running the asylum in. The global reaction to the illegal invasion of Venezuela by the US armed forces speaks volumes about how the world at large feels. I would suggest that Gavin Newsom declares California a sovereign state and secede from the Republic, (perhaps taking the rest of the West Coast with them). That would take a great deal of the US economy out of the picture and hopefully help those Americans who voted the orange, delusional dictator in, see the error of their ways.
"... there are young Kiwi for whom learning Te Reo, respecting the Treaty, and caring about the environment are essential. They are the future of this beautiful land ..."
Tika rawa! And there are many more of them than Luxon, Simeon, Brash etc realise.
I'm loving watching democracy in action at the Far North District Council with its outstanding youngish mayor (same age as the new New York mayor) as "Facebooked" by the one Act Party councillor (and her followers) who are squealing as her Act inspired resolutions are voted down 10:1 by the democratically elected councillors.
Because he has no portfolios you'd expect him to be across every major issue. But he always defers to ministers showing what a lazy dimwit he is.
What a breath of fresh air Eliza McCartney is. I get she is supported to vault over a high bar but it's great to learn there is a thinking person with values making that effort.
I'm pretty sure the soggy little bastard isn't at his Waiheke residence. You can usually tell when he is because his security people always rent the house in front.
I went past the other day and the people in that house were all sitting on the patio drinking beer like proper Waihekeans, so I'm guessing they're not bodyguards
Hold on true kiwis. I’m sick of the American takeover of our media(tv now rubbish), food( crap🤮”have burger king add maple syrup) , installing spyware(5G towers, data centres), GM labs( for our health and wellbeing 😡),dept of WAR(what happened to our dept of Defence?). Get gone and take those politicians who kowtow. Learn TeReo learn anything and continue to think critically, don’t let them dumb us down, there is no racism other than what we are feed through the media and those white trash bigots( hobsons pledge). Don’t lose sight of our great country, Aotearoa ❤️

Quick comment ; Phil Twyford put out a statement yesterday for NZ Labour Party. It's pretty strong. He is the Assoc Foreign Affairs spokesperson.
The media have been quiet on that.
Did he?? Where did you see it, because I haven’t caught even a whisper. Another long siiiigh, as I miss real reporting.
Saw it on Instagram I think and Helen Clark's Instagram reels. She's amazing in what she says ip with and shares.
Came up for me on X and FB. https://www.facebook.com/darien.fenton/posts/pfbid02AB12MWnXHFNwZSzsAXDgAWcSmNQhbwFpVmYUFGEw3km91Vh4Bq9cnAH5tMrmBTBEl
Is there any superpower that will organise an assault on the PM’s residence, whisk him out of the country, and charge him with something/anything?
I hear Twitlers available but they’re besties!

Me too, and the Alliance before that.
And Values before that!
First election I can recall voting in, I voted Values.
Tony Brunt.
Yes our govt needs to stand against the orange turd. But let's face it, would you believe anything our 'Prime Deficit' said
😆 Prime Deficit, brilliant.
I can't say that I miss Luxon...
Me either, I was going to go with a MIA missing in (in)action vibe, but I really like the song.

And on the east coast there's Zohran Mamdani building a following. My fantasy is the centre cannot hold.
I'm concerned about Mamdani's safety. If not from Trump himself, from his nutty supporters.
That works for me Fiona👍👍😀

Hi Nick,
I looked at Luxon's fb yesterday (to see if there was anything) and think he is in Hawaii from the pic.
I am pakeha, disabled and living on a benefit.
I'm not a 'white liberal'...nothing unique about me. I'm just a middle aged man that's begun learning Te Reo.
My daughter is 24, part Maori, bilingual and fiercely proud of it.
Eliza MCartney is a young pakeha woman, embracing and acknowledging being so.
She stands behind Tangata Tiriti as does my daughter....as does her dad.
I LOVE THIS COUNTRY WITH EVERY FIBRE OF MY BEING.
Luxon doesn't.
To Dame Luxon I say stop. PLEASE JUST STOP. You've had your turn and it didn't work out..
You spoke with soulless arrogance about things you thought people wanted to hear.
They didn't.
You reek of entitlement, Mr Luxon., but your not 'entitled' to anything.
What's ours, isn't yours.
So get your entitled poodle up your derriere .
To quote Midnight Oil
'The rich get richer, the poor get the picture'.
Luxon - undoubtedly the laziest PM ever.
Because he has no portfolios you'd expect him to be across every major issue. But he always defers to ministers showing what a lazy dimwit he is.

Hobsons bunch are the true bottom feeders, incessantly licking eahothers and Luxon's, buttholes. Sincere apologies for the mental picture.

Probably used his rates savings to jet off overseas. I wonder if he gets cheap fares on Air NZ still?
MIA-luxcon is probably in Canada trying to apply for a new job as an evangelical Minster.
