Thanks Nick, I really love this part of the quote from Abdur Razzaq Khan, " you can actually bring in misinformation and make it fact", the media need to pay attention to that because they do it all the time.

Yes - a point very well made, by Abdur Razzaq Khan. Shame on Winston Peters. What a pathetic old man he is trying to politicise this very sad terrorist attack on defenceless people at worship. Thank you also Nick for your clarity about Winston Peter's actions aganst Jacinda.

He has lost his mind. Somewhere in that circus outside parliament. Surely Luxon knows that he cant let winston loose on the world as a minister and surely Luxon will be so full of himself as to believe that NZ would give him more votes in order to get rid of winston. Bring on another election i say. we are ready. what is scary is imagining the response of a luxon/seymour/winston leadership to crises arising from wars and climate change that are approaching our doorstep. fuck this circus, bring back kindness.

Richard Harman has posted a photo of Jacinda and Winston together at the press conference the following day when this email was discussed. Jacinda was actually in New Plymouth on the 15th, nowhere near her office, and she would not have been the first person to read the email even if she had been.

Thanks again Nick for another excellent piece of writing. What an insightful quote from Abdur Razzaq Khan, especially “…you can actually bring in misinformation and make it the fact…”

He has now sunken to the lowest of low. Him and any clown followers need to exit NZ. I often say to myself - he's got no Māori in him but actually he's got no Kiwi in Him! - Absolutely shame on him!!

My question is: How do we fill all those buckets with facts so that people's brains can recover from the COVID-19 flood of disinformation cynically provided by external players who seem to have turned gullible people's brains to mush?

It should be something we could expect mainstream media to do, but that seems a forlorn hope these days. The Disinformation Project do their best, but are not trusted by the very people who most need the information, and other voices of reason (like yours Nick) just don't reach them.

What a truly beautiful song. I absolutely loved it.

What a joke it is to call your party NZ First when it really is Winston first. Just hope the special votes mean Luxon having to deal with this politician who is clearly beyond his use by date. What a mess we can look forward to.

So why does Winston, in this period between the election and the final results, want to attack Jacinda Ardern and the government that he was the deputy leader of? Simply to push NAct off the front page and show how Right he is again

maybe its just spitefulness. maybe jacinda kept him in line and he is paying heer back for that. or maybe he wasnt getting enough attention from chris luxon. or maybe he has lost his mind. or maybe he is determined to become our very own Trump phenomenon.

This one surprised the heck out of me with the timing of it! This was weird, even for Winnie, who's got a Bucket full of weird stuff he's pulled out of his ole Sombrero over his time as a Politico operative in NZ.

Something tells me there is a lot more behind his apparent brainfart than just kicking Jacinda & the other Jacals in the Bee Jungle out of ??, take your pick - Revenge?, Personal Embarrassment, Humiliation, Hurt, or something else that's yet to come to light. My personal feeling is that it's the latter, something that hasn't fully made it to the surface yet.

Winston is a lot of things, but he ain't Crazy Enough to throw such a huge spanner in the works unless he had an exit strategy to escape the bollocking that would be in order with his statement.

So, What's his plan Stan??? Geez I wish i knew for sure, but Winston isn't a for sure sorta person that is predictable as clockwork. One thing you can be sure of though is it ain't Sneakin out the Back, Jack!

I've been acquainted with the guy for a couple decades, had lunch with him on numerous occasions (unscheduled & impromptu) meetings at small Cafè's across from Legal Beagle & Government offices in Dunedin & Northland. You couldn't ask for a better Blind Lunch date than this guy!

Winston gives nothin away! Mind you, he plays his hand close to his chest & prefers conversationally stimulating dancing to outright disclosures on the WTF's he's notorious for, but there's always a motivational reason whenever Winston "Goes Off" as he does... I suspect the guy has a photographic memory for faces & names, as since the 1st time we met for a Blind lunch date in Dunedin in 1995, he's remembered my name & picked up the the last conversation we had as if it were yesterday.

Winston seems to react long after being attacked, which is generally when he comes out with Headline Claims for something entirely off topic & Out of the Blue.

He starts with a Bombshell statement that blows people's heads off, then waits for the reaction before getting to the Meat in the Sandwich.

We're at Bombshell stage presently, so we won't know what's really on Winnie's mind for a little while, while it all sinks in to the Media Circus that follows him around like a Bad Smell, hoping to force an MSM Trip Up that he can use to rubbish his accusers & transfer the onus to those hoping to shut him up before dropping the Big One.

I'll keep my powder dry for now on this recent Winston-ism. There's something brewing that hasn't brewed long enough yet to be completely fermented.

I'll say this though, Winston has changed since hanging around with Shane Jones. I don't trust Shane Jones motivations at all! It's that relationship that could change my thoughts about Winston Peters, but I'm still thinking there's more to come & we ain't seen nothin yet to Bank on in the formulation of our next Government Coalition under MMP.

Winnie doesn't like Wise Guys like Luxon, or Seymour, or Namby Pamby folks like Chris Hipkins, but he feels obligated to be an important part of any Right Wing Coalition if for nothing than Keeping them Honest in the old School manner that defines Winston Peters as an Iconic NZ Democratic Politician.

Winston up to his dirty dog old tricks again! However he has been found out and the people are not fooled. He so wants to be the kingmaker in the new government and is praying that Luxon will need him. As history has shown he is not to be trusted. Part of me wishes that the three clowns will have to govern together and that Winston will be a a thorn is their side.
