This morning, I couldn’t settle on a single topic. Too many things are happening, so I decided to highlight a few things and possibly spark some discussion.
If there is a theme, I guess it is one of “How weak is that? Can’t we do better?” Our government portrays itself as people of action who get stuff done—so how come they look so ineffectual on so many things?
Perhaps I should clarify.
When I say weak, I don’t mean vulnerable or lacking physical prowess; I’m talking about a weakness of effort or character.
Weak as in feeble, as in must do better, as in hang on a minute - aren’t you supposed to be the adults in the room? What the heck is happening here, and why aren’t you doing something about it?
C’mon. Piss or get off the pot. If you ain’t got what it takes - get going and give someone else a go. Right, off we go…
