Good oh Mick,and Nick. Woke FM / RNZ already have that judgement of being a bit woke, except for the likes of Lisa Owen. For a bit of wokeness I can always read your kōrerō which is a nice relief from a lot of other written opinion pieces . The Spinoff are also pretty good. The ODT are not although I do agree with their comments on the cuts to the new Dunedin Hospital build.
The term woke is over used to denigrate any person deemed left leaning. Nick you summed up Tova's style of journalism very well. Newshub Nation has improved since she left - less of the gotcha. Jack Tane seems to have caught the "gotchat"bug. I never did get around to listening to Tova's radio program. Out of Sight-out of mind! I would never voluntarily listen to Mark Richardson or Duncan Garner who is now describing himself as being a "dead man talking".
