Bishop will be tearing his hair out. The Herald's poll of Polls has the three left parties well ahead.

Bishop may present as a "Good bloke", but I think Muller found what he and Woodhouse are really like. They have chosen someone who can "present a front" He is all about the presentation, not the reality. PS Yes John Armstrong was awful.

And John Bishop is also awful. Constant articles on Stuff-not lately, but a lot previously trashing the government. John Bishop, and the Taxpayers Union dealing to Three Waters, and son Chris Bishop trashing every thing else the govt. has done/proposes doing.

Stephen Joyce's 'resting bitch face' is just that.

Bishop's is a demented version of the same 'bitch face', because they come from the same mold.

They want to go back to when tories could railroad the populace with no regard for human collateral.

Anyone who, in the 21st century, would sell the lies of a tobacco company doesn't belong in Parliament.

Great writing as always Nick.

Have already heard some reporting from the National Party Conference, Nicola Willis's tired quote "the lazy politics of envy" . That's two of the seven deadly sins right there,

sloth and envy. Are we going to hear about any others eg greed and gluttony?

That was so funny that you had to unfriend him 🤣 what a bloody shocker of an interview on The Nation. The “what about it?” to inequality sums it up. Then blathering on about education, housing and law and order made it obvious there were no policies coming to address the underlying inequality...it s just not something they care about.
