Thanks Nick, I see your good wishes for the happy couple, and double them, and again… we watched ‘Breathtaking’ and every few minutes we would comment “thank you Jacinda for saving us from this”. She may not be perfect but she is extraordinary and was definitely the right person in the right job at those horrible times - may the day go well!

HAPPY DAY JACINDA AND CLARKE AND NEVE and invited attending celebrators. We would have loved to join and watch you looking great and having a feasty, dancing day! We are the many who supported, enjoyed your tenure as PM and are all grateful for your caring for us, your citizens. May your day be full of continuous joy. XXOOXX.

OOPs, forgot to say "your FELLOW citizens", but you know we know you are not possessive in that way. Nick, please edit, I can't.

Hi Kate, I can't edit other people's comments. You should be able to edit it by selecting the three small dots to the bottom right of the comment. But no matter, we know what you mean 🙂

Spot on Nick! Jacinda was, and still is, renowned the world over - except in NZ. How do we manage that? I feel sure it is the propaganda spin put out by the Right wing, to create a division where none existed, or should exist, to create a division, to avoid policy and what is good for the country, by a Win mentality, just defeat the other side. I was a bit surprised to hear friends, from the Left, parrot the media spin with comment following that lead. An example of how much the media effect our thinking, that is surely the one single aspect of which we all need to be more aware.

We were/are being played on social media by USA firm Topham and Guerin employed by right wing money to get rid of Labour. Propoganda I agree Janette

And one of the leaders of this was Jessica Much etc, who now has left TV1 for a job at ANZ, and who runs that place? Mr John Key! I would like to see her bank balance or maybe she has one in the Bahamas!

Haters gonna hate.

Wankers gonna ... work for the Herald.

I’m feeling happy and a bit warm and fuzzy... love is so wonderful.

So happy for them both and their families. Really glad the Herald has once again made a fool of itself with crappy photos. Clarke was right - why should the media be told anything. A wedding is a personal and private commitment to each other, and an occasion for celebration with whānau, and close friends.

Well said Nick. This household has only the very best wishes for them both and know that Neve is a lucky and special little girl.

The Herald are our new gutter press......almost exclusively a RW promo rag and a left wing bashing, or ignoring, propaganda rag. Time for Nick, Gerard, David etc to start their own newspaper and demonstrate balanced journalism based on facts instead of conspiracy theories and rumours...? Meanwhile, happy wedding day to Clarke and Jacinda and all the best for your beautiful family's years together. You deserve all the good things, and you have our eternal gratitude.

I hope Jacinda and Clarke have a great day and secretly she may do the finger to the NZ Herald. What a crap newspaper it has turned into. I wonder if old Jessica was hoping for an invite?

Thanks Nick, we celebrate a happy occasion for Jacinda and Clarke and let the media rot in hell! They wrote such prejudice rubbish on one of the most empathetic leaders NZ has ever had! I hope they have a wonderful day and that the media are frozen out!

Great story Nick, I hope the rat bags and nasty media let Jacinda, Neve and Clarke enjoy their day. It's time the media moved on from Labour/Greens and started focusing on the "Toxic Trio Coalition". There is plenty to write about in that area.
