I was here in Canterbury & knew people close to the action when Levy did his number here - he was despised & had little or no respect DURING his time, and even less after the full extent of his meddling was known publicly.
And thank you for continuing to highlight the work of the Opposition parties in Parliament - unless there is something controversial for them to lock onto (e.g. the brilliant Dr Verrall saying Levy is "cooking the books") the media don't tend to be interested, and if we are to make this a one term govt for the sake of Aotearoa, we not only need the foot-soldiers doing the grass-roots stuff (which they are), but also the public has to see potential trustworthy Ministers on the opposition benches. Even supporters of parties of different stripes don't follow the day-to-day of Parliament, so if media doesn't cover it, they will not hear about non-headline grabbing work exposing govt political shenanagins. 🤷
