I say keep writing Nick, I appreciate the reality view that is less obvious from other sources. It is NOT a cost of living issue over subscriptions, but a spin response action that suits an alternate agenda, for those that can, at least 80%+ of us, a subscription to your substack has more value than other publications. Some comment this morning reminded me of my lecturing role in the past on Management Accounting, one segment detailed how some decisions can have an adverse effect. An example we often see is a branch closure when it does not make a profit, the effect then is that other branches have a greater burden of the increased Operating Expense share, pushed on to all. Something like cutting government costs, with a corresponding drop in government income. Govt expenditure = govt income, it cannot be otherwise. The spin that govt is running out of money, is completely false, as the govt actually prints, or creates all "currency" that is in circulation, actually fiat currency, not money as that is a false concept that only exists because our economic "systems" support that false concept.
I don't mind in the least paying for your writing, as the main media don't do the good job it used to. We need to read some good analysis from you, G news & BHN to hear the truth about the wreckage this Government has inflicted on NZ society.
I understand that Luxon's TikTok post was his attempt to upstage Vladimir Putin's horse riding, tough guy with a gun showpiece which has been broadcast worldwide.
