Thanks Nick, I really shudder at the thought of a National, Act coalition, they will screw everyone. Many a true word is spoken in jest and Luxon continually calling the government a "coalition of chaos" will come back and bite him in the arse if they get elected, because he is not fit to be the PM.

The "coalition of chaos " would be Nats, Act and NZ first. How long before it crumbles.

Just the letter I would like to have written to Luxon myself if only I could think of all the details and write them up so clearly! I have started to like Jack Tame a bit better - his spontaneous laughter at Nicola's "modeling" document said it all. Thank you Nick and Gerard!

Thanks Nick. Gerard is always right on point. I really enjoy his reads as I do yours. Let's hope voters will see through the bullshit and see what's best for everyone in Aotearoa.

Love this, I wish everyone in New Zealand would read it. It's time that the glib words and empty words were scrutinized.

Good point. I often think that about Nick's writing also-thatit should be widely read.Where does Mr Otto make public his pieces.? Tis piece is terrific, and very accurate. Nicola Willis really does screech like a banshee, and Luxon is slippery, and dishonest. What a pair of incompetents. Such fraudsters, both of them.

Thanks Nick. It's like a living nightmare. Yet look at the figures from Rotorua today in terms of the numbers coming down regarding care of the homeless - those numbers of motel use etc have come right down!

Nick, sharing G's letter deserves as much Credit as writing it yourself in the sense of Cooperation through inclusiveness with your Reader Base. We're all in this Soup Together & have different ways of expressing our concerns.

The Truth remains the same on Luxon & Willis' lack of Leadership experience. Luxon's experience as a CEO doesn't mean he was a Good One, or that a person that can run a Company would NOT necessarily qualify them to run a Democratic Government by Osmosis.

There are Day & Night differences between these 2 ideologies to consider.

If anything, his prior experience as a Neoliberal Capitalist Corporate / Market Manager is exactly the opposite type of experience needed to work within Democratic ideological Principals to bring the Country out.of the Tail Spin we've been in for almost 40 years of Neoliberal Capitalist Politics applied to Democratic Ideological Principles that treat all People Equally. It just doesn't work - full stop...

Luxon's plans & policies are nothing more than Kicking the Can down the road, as usual. Willis is a Vile Wannabe "Attila the Hun" when it comes to Woke popularity Politic's. She intends to prove that she's the most Vicious Money Manager on Earth. Her credentials of working with Key during the GFC in the Disaster Capital game he played with the Country should do better to send out a SERIOUS Warning to everyone that mistakenly voted for National in 2009 that both Ruth Richardson & Paula Bennett were cream puffs in comparison to her plans for those Bottom Feeders this time around.

Both of these Low Brows are playing with Fire with these divisive Policies they're pushing down everyone's throats without any truthful costings & it will harm the majority of NZer's rather than help them.

I'm sorry, but NOW is not the time for Tax Cuts for ANYBODY after the past 3 years of disrupted Economies, needing to rebuild after Environmental Disasters, Supply Chains & Global Tensions pointing toward China & Russia that could completely disrupt the entire Global Economy at any time. This is a time to dig into our pockets in support of rebuilding the Country & sharing a little bit more of our Common Wealth to get things back on track as quickly as possible in everyones best interests.

Neoliberal Capitalism is on the Ropes at present & could very well tip over as the Swift Payments System continues to Shrink as the BRICS Country's rapidly grow in Number.

Nationals policies, all of em, are tied to Massive Market Boat Anchors of Property Sales & Sports Gambling, both of which are subject to huge Market Swings & should never be trusted as Meat & Potato Investments for our Collectives future.

Using cuts in Public Services to top up a Tax Reduction Policy is bordering on Treasonous if you think about it. Robbing Peter to pay your buddy Paul out of the Public Tax Fund is downright Nutz!!!

All of Labours policies are doable, without tearing the whole Public Service Sector down to do it again.

Staying the Course is the only smart way out of the serious mess we're in with these Neolib Corporatists bangin on the Treasury Doors for their entitled Cuts to everything they have their Vampire Squid Tentacles stuck into already in our SOE's & now they want More, more, more... Trust us, we're from the Government is still one of the 3 Lies most commonly pulled out of Snake oil Salesmen & Carpetbaggers Hats.

If anything, we need to be Domesticating our Local Economies & rebuilding our Communities in Citizens Coalitions, together, to be able to survive "Life after Neoliberal Capitalism", which may well be the case in the near term future.

With our currently LOW unemployment numbers, Employers are seriously nervous about having to meet Market Pay Levels for any New Headcount they add, "IF they can find any". That gives Bargaining Power to the Worker Bee's & Labour Unions and forces Employers to compete if they want to survive.

The increases in Migrant Worker numbers are Intentional & Ill conceived at best! Bring in Foreign Nationals to work your Fields, arrange Kickbacks with local Backpackers for Accommodation & have them Manage the Work Crews that they either Source from Overseas (EU, UK, Canada / USA), or Island Groups in the Pacific.

Migrant's can't vote, or even complain about their conditions. If they do, they're sent home & replaced by the Hungrier one behind them.

So basically we've turned into a Feudal Work Colony since ole Johnny Key opened the Working Tourist VISA Floodgate as he told us to tighten our Austerity belts & cancelled our collective Bus Tickets the last time National occupied the Beehive...

I sincerely hope we don't revisit these failed old policies & can give Labour & potential Coalition Company another chance with all new Coalition Partners, to prove themselves as worthy to lead our DEMOCRATIC Government! Backtracking 30 years to have another go at Failed Policies is NOT the direction we should be lookin at to move beyond Covid & Global Conflicts that are having such an impact on Global Trade & logistics presently...

Another case of having to eat Rat's to survive I reckon, but at least you know the Rat's you'll rehire with your vote & if you put the fear of god in em with their next coalition partners, maybe they won't be so cocky & full of themselves as they were in 2020...

This is definitely Not an Election to be complacent in!

A realistic letter from Gerard to Christopher Luxton.

Of bourse he (Luxton) was the CEO of a major NZ company, the priority was to make big money for the company & shareholders, not to provide a service other

big money. He has the arrogance of people in this type of position who do not have any interest, understanding or sympathy for people not in similar financial positions.
