I think it boils down to right wing vs left wing - which is fine if everyone criticizes constructively -but - I too, am ashamed of the nasty hateful personal comments directed at our Prime Minister. It's not surprising though - the Opposition have behaved like spoilt children throughout this COVID crisis - so I guess their followers will do the same - only they are voicing their thoughts in a crude and nasty manner - which Opposition haven't yet stepped over that particular line, but am sure they re happy with the results. Do they they think Jacinda runs the country single-handedly? She takes expert advise from medical experts, legal experts etc. I have seen people I know who are Nat supporters turn from "nice" people into absolute ignorant raving nutters - throwing out comments that are just not true - and that scares me more than Omicrom does.
